T-Kid 170 Interview by Chris Riggs

This article was posted by ethersock 1 year, 9 months, 5 days, 17 hours, 25 minutes ago.

Overlooking the Bedford Yard near the Tracy Towers in the Bronx and explaining the attitude of his youth in the 70’s, T-Kid recalls his history of writing on walls in this video interview conducted by Chris Riggs. “Graffiti is not about discipline” T-Kid says, ” Graffiti is about pure fucking energy that comes from an individual, and you never know when, or how, it’s going to express itself”. Watch as he boils graffiti down to it’s base–name recognition, hey, look at me, I exist. This is a 16 minute history lesson from a man who was there from the start. Be sure to check it out. After all, you can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve been.
