Rime Documents the Art of Hand Painted Advertisements in Mexico City

The art of sign making, a once fascinating and tedious labor of the hands, has succumb to the more modern day technique of graphic design and vinyl. On Rime’s recent trip to Mexico he noticed the large amount of hand painted ads and did a pretty extensive job of documenting them. “Repetition and size in the best spots make it easily relatable as a graffiti writer”, Rime said in response to the comparability between advertising and graffiti.
