Taki 183, Snake 1, Dead Leg 167,Lionel 168, LSD OM, Riff 170 , Jester 1, SJK 171, TREASE 158, Clyde, FDT 56, Lil Soul 159, LAVA 1-2,MICO, FLINT… and a packed house of writers from multi-generations witnessed a fitting sendoff to arguably the greatest writer our culture ever witnessed. The speeches were deeply moving and I don’t know anyone more beloved than the father of the smoker. The voice of the ghetto lay silent in a casket befitting of royalty-and he was.
