The World's First Ever Glow-In-The-Dark Skatepark by Koo Jeong-A

By - Wednesday, August 1st, 2012

Recently, artist Koo Jeong-A realized how difficult it was for skateboarders to have a great night session. The only problem while skating at night she said is to haul around generators and massive lights to guarantee that there is enough light to actually see. Koo Jeong-A decided to come up with a different and much better solution when she thought of OTRO, the world’s first glow in the dark skatepark located in Brussels, Belgium. Designing the park consisting of a cradle, different bowls, and three separate tunnels to skate through all being constructed with green phosphorescent concrete for illumination at night. Check out the photos for a full understanding of this great idea. Source: L’Escaut
