The Art of Basketball is a collection of original artworks under license from the NBA. The collection currently features unique works on official NBA backboards and sections of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game floor boards. This collection taps a select group of graffiti and street artists to re-imagine the most iconic symbols of this beloved game. Featuring Cope2, Ewok One 5MH, Cern, URNY, Chris Stain, Skewville, Shiro, MBW, The Dude Company, Rene Gagnon, Joe Iurato, Jack Aguire, David Cooper, and Billi Kid. Created by Public Works Department, curated by Billi Kid, and presented by POP International Galleries. The exhibition pops off October 16th and runs through October 28th.
