Throwback Thursday: “Welcome Back, Kotter” Opening - P.Nut 2 RIP
This article was posted by Senior Editor 10 months, 52 minutes ago.
For this weeks Throwback Thursday we remember P.Nut 2 and take a look back at the opening credits for the television show Welcome Back, Kotter. The series starring Gabe Kaplan and featuring a young John Travolta originally aired on the ABC network from September 9, 1975 to June 8, 1979. At the time the concept of fame within the graffiti world was largely insular. Jester , Bot, Ton 5, P.Nut 2 and Diablo were already famous within the culture. When their names on the B train became a staple of the intro for John Travolta’s coming out party, the world became privy to what we writers already knew.
