THROWIE THURSDAY: MEL1 & REUPS

By - Thursday, June 25th, 2015

This week’s Throwie Thursday is dedicated the MEL1 and REUPS. Nicknamed the John Lennon and Yoko Ono of the graff scene for being super chill, creative and supportive of each other, these writers put it down. From two different NYC Boroughs and crews, they met by chance last year in the Bronx and instantly began plotting missions.  Their names began popping up all over the streets, trucks and roof tops in the name of peace, love and thowies.  Mel1 is down with Man Eaters and Reups with TDK and EOTS.  They are notorious for straight and simple lettering but specialize in large sizes,  in your face locations,  and spreading out along a block with take over tactics.   When not rocking the streets of  NYC, they have clocked in hours in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Miami, Florida.
