Times Square Newsstand Installation by Grotesk

By - Thursday, October 22nd, 2015

Kimou Meyer, aka Grotesk, recently took over Times Square with a custom installation featuring an authentic New York newsstand made in collaboration with Juxtapoz Magazine. The newsstand is hard to miss in the heart of Times Square, completely covered with authentic NY tags. Much like Kimou’s work, the newsstand is a simple reminder of the value of print and human interaction. Put down the phone, get off the computer, and make something for yourself. If you didn’t get a chance to see it for yourself, check out the gallery for some shots of the completed newsstand.
