Top 12: Lama Clean Trains

By - Saturday, March 24th, 2012

After Cope2 posted the music video for Los Hermanos’ “Graffiti Life” we were motivated to look into the brothers behind the track. Lama and Joke are two graffiti writers based in Madrid, Spain, most recognized for painting clean trains. Lama painted his first train in 1994. Lama’s name is a tribute to spirituality “in this world so materialistic, what it represent to me is the Tibetan monks, Lamas” and he’s mainly inspired by NYC subway graffiti of the 1980’s and his brother Joke.
