Video: Faith47 Creates “Rhapsody” for This Year’s Wall\Therapy

South African graffiti artist Faith47 was a recent participant in the public mural project Wall\Therapy, based in Rochester, NY. Her piece “Rhapsody” will be featured in the upcoming Wall\Therapy 2012 documentary (you can see her cameo in the trailer).

The above video by Evan Schapp, Rochester-based video artist, is dedicated entirely to the unfolding of “Rhapsody” and depicts a solo Faith47 painting a towering, brick-wall canvas. The slow pacing of both the footage and the soundtrack make for an highly dramatic, eerie and compelling video.
