Video: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Trailer

Although teased earlier at the beginning of the month, the Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII trailer is officially up! Lightning Returns seems to be a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII-2, part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy series. Intended to end the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy, it features Lightning as the protagonist. The game takes place hundreds of years in the future and will feature “a brand-new story, world, characters, and an enhanced gameplay system”, according to publisher, Square Enix.

The game is set to release on PS3 & Xbox 360 sometime in 2013.
