Nowness just posted a short biographical video on the artist Romon Kimin Yang, AKA Rostarr. In it he talks about his work, his influences, where he got his pseudonym and the iconography he uses. Showing the artist at work in his studio, we get an intimate look at his process. From Ro’s calculated intricate calligraphic paintings to pollack-esque drip painting and literally breakdancing on the canvas.
