Nychos Detroit 2013 from El JEFE 313 on Vimeo.

Back in 2013 while Nychos and his crew,The Weird were in Detroit for a show and to throw up as many murals as possible. Whilst there, they went venturing out into the city to visit some of Detroit’s hot urbexing spots. One spot was an old abandoned hotel where Nychos and his crew wanted to explore and also get more footage for an upcoming documentary. As we all gathered in the ballroom, members of The Weird started to go their own ways throughout the hotel, and it was time to decide what to shoot. A last minute decision Ied to being posted up with Nychos to capture what he does best and how fast he works. There is still no word when his documentary “The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow” by videographer Christian Fischer will debut, but judging by the Detroit Preview it should be nothing short of amazing.
The artist is currently back stateside and his first West Coast solo show “Street Anatomy” opens up this Friday, April 18th in San Francisco at FIFTY24SF gallery. More here.
