Video: Steve Powers Paints Roskilde Festival Wall in Denmark

Brooklyn based artist Steve Powers was awarded the task of painting the almost 330-foot-long grandstand wall at the 2012 Roskilde Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In this first video, from his NY studio, the Philadelphia native shares his expectations of the festival as well as his view on how he plans on adapting his artistic process onto the project:

 

In this second video, shot during the “warm up” week of the festival, Steve gets busy with his crew finalizing the wall, and expands on the reason behind the chosen title: The Best of Times for the Rest of Time
