Hangfire is a UK based collective who organize commissions and curate exhibitions. Their latest venture “The Hangerone Project” sees artists painting airplanes as big as commercial jets. The first piece in the series is from Bristol based graffiti artist 45RPM; check out this video of him painting a Lockheed Jetstar.

So, this was comissioned or something? Looks like it was done legally, but I don’t understand why the owner would let someone paint it, unless it’s a parts plane or scrap and no one’s ever going to be using the passenger windows ever again.. IDK, not trying to be a dick, I just don’t get it.
