Video: Time Lapse of Parra's "Weirded Out" at San Francisco MoMA

By - Monday, April 2nd, 2012

This past weekend, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art had it’s opening of Weirded Out, a 60-foot mural painted by Dutch artist Parra. This time-lapse video documents a really cool preview into the process of this piece by him and his assistant while also highlighting his unique cartoon-like and free-form lettering style. Parra has worked on several collaborations in the past with Nike Sportswear, Stussy, and Vans. Weirded Out is his first exhibition in a U.S. museum and will run open to the public until July 29th, 2012. For more details on the show you can check out the San Francisco MoMA’s website or the artist’s website. {image-1} Text: Jude Liana
