Video: Who Owns the Street?

Peter Drew is an Australian street artist who was granted permission to leave his work of vintage portraits of Australian criminals around the city streets – only begging the question, who can make that decision as to what’s ‘allowed’ on public property and what’s not? This short film explores his process in attempting to explain the origins of street art to city council, and defining just who does own the streets.
