Wyclef Jean released this new music video titled “Justice” (If You’re 17), as a tribute to the case of Trayvon Martin. The video features actor Jonathan Charles who portrays another young life that was lost due to Neighborhood Watch. Wyclef Jean quotes in this song “If you’re 17 with a hoodie on watch out for the neighborhood watcher / If you at the right neighborhood at the wrong time neighborhood watcher / this might be your last call to your girlfriend,” which is a similar scenario to what Trayvon Martin was doing the day his life was taken. The song and video are together very strong and respectable tributes to the death of Trayvon Martin, be sure to check it out above.
