Video: Above Miami - Give A Wall St Banker Enough Rope and He Will Hang Himself
This article was posted by Admin 1 year, 6 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 12 hours, 8 minutes ago.
For the past week, graffiti artist Above has been working on a giant, attention-grabbing mural as part of Primary Flight and in anticipation of Art Basel Miami next month. Above painted this 255-ft wide by 11-ft tall statement along Interstate 95 near the Wynwood Arts District that reads “Give a Wall Street banker enough rope and he will hang himself” with what appears to be mannequin dressed up to look like a Wall St. fat cat hanging overhead.
This controversial piece has solicited response from CBS News, Fox News, and the Miami Times. This attention couldn’t have come at a better time as the first monograph on Above just dropped a week ago from Zero+ publishing. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out 12ozProphet’s review of Above: Passport and scroll down to see a few still images of the new mural in Miami.
