Wednesday Walls: 20 Years of DE

By - Wednesday, October 14th, 2015

For their 20th anniversary, the DE crew decided to visit Chicago and stack up some walls. The weekend of the 3rd/4th the crew painted the Crawford Steel walls on the westside. We will have those flicks for you later, but they also painted this wall recently, which interestingly was an illegal spot not too long ago. With the conversion to production wall, the DE crew came through and put together a solid lineup.

If you ride down Milwaukee Ave, towards the north side, the first pieces that are going to get your attention are probably the Japan and Drama pieces. Not only is that because they are the closest to the gate (haha), but the vibrancy carried by each piece really pops off the street. Then as you stop to peep the whole yard, it’s like stepping into one of those lowkey spots off the tracks filled with burners.

Enjoy the work of DE crew members AMUSE, DRAMA, JAPAN, CELR, TENFOLD, WRANE, KAER, OPTIMIST, HADES, ZEAM, MORGAN, DEPHT, and TACHE.
