Wednesday Walls: 350 Writers hit Milan, Italy for Street Players

By - Wednesday, June 17th, 2015

This past weekend the 3rd Installment of Street Players took place in Milan, Italy.

More than 350 artist from all over the world made the trek to Milan to paint nearly 3Km (2 miles!) of walls surrounding the Hippodrome (for those of you unfamiliar with ancient greek architecture, that’s where the Romans would hold chariot and horse races, hence the horse theme in a lot of the work).

The organizer of the event is Marco “KayOne” Mantovani, a pioneer of the graffiti culture in Italy, especially around Milan, and a writer since 1988. Street Players is a semi-annual event that attracts some amazing artists, so we have to give props to KayOne for putting it all together.

The event was also sponsored by Loop Colors, a new Italian brand of spray paint that looks to be putting out some pretty awesome products and colors.
