Wholetrain Project – Brazil

By - Saturday, July 18th, 2015

Our friends OS GEMEOS recently turned us on to a project they took part in down in South America. The Wholetrain Project started in 2002, and since then it has transformed the Brazilian’s city trains into itinerant pieces of art with the help of both local and foreign artists. Aiming to bring color into the daily life of train riders, and to raise questions and facilitate a discussion about art, the project has had a great impact on residents of the cities involved. It’s important to highlight that it’s a philanthropic project, that there isn’t any financial support from the government. Beyond OS GEMEOS,t he artists involved include Ise, Nunca, Finok, Coyo, Toes, Kaur, Stile, Nevs, Zeks, Ariz and Japon among many others others.

Make sure to stay tuned to 12ozProphet for more on this project. This is just a sneak speak at what all the artists were able to accomplish down there, with much more to come in terms of pics stories an videos. With a project of this scope and nature there is a whole lot to capture!
