Who’s Where? Murals in the Market – Detroit

By - Saturday, September 19th, 2015

Murals in the Market in Detroit is well underway with the first day officially behind us. The day started off quite gloomy, due to overcast skies and light rain, but by mid afternoon the sun came out and everyone was in full swing. Whether it was adding a few final touches, or getting their large scale canvases ready for paint, everywhere you looked there was something going on.

Like you, we are definitely eager to see the progress of the murals. It’s great to see such a positive vibe coming from the community, with a crowd coming out to support the artists. People are out driving around to find the walls, kind of like a treasure hunt asking, “who else is around here” or “where should I go next?”Others are just taking it in by foot.
Stay tuned as we will continue to bring you coverage of the event as it progresses.
