We pulled this classic out of our archives for last week’s Throwback Thursday post. 12ozProphet Issue 6 was published in 1998 and focused on the burgeoning graff scene in Brazil, especially on our hosts, Os Gemeos. It was the first time their work was published and brought to an audience outside of their hometown of São Paulo. It’s a trip reading this article from 14 years ago when the twins were widely unknown. Today their influence is undeniable and we couldn’t be more proud watching their careers flourish.

A lucky second place winner will receive a rare booklet created in celebration of when Os Gemeos painted the famed Houston Street and Bowery wall in 2009, comprised of photography by Martha Cooper (pictured below). And five runners-up will receive a 12ozProphet sticker pack.
