By - Friday, April 1st, 2016

Four its Fourth Annual Silent Art Auction, Young New Yorkers is celebrating the art and activism of Shepard Fairey. Along with Shepard Fairey the silent auction will also feature 80+ Street Artists from all over the world including Swoon, Gaia and Ben Eine.

Founded by Rachel Barnard in 2011, the Young New Yorkers program provides arts-based diversion programs to court-involved young people in Brooklyn. The criminal court gives eligible 16- and 17-year old defendants the option to participate in a Young New Yorker program rather than spend time in jail. To date 100% of more than 250 participants have successfully completed Young New Yorker programs. The auction will take place at 160 West Broadway this coming April 7 from 7-10pm but don’t fret if you can not make it down that night you can also bid at paddle8.com.
