Zine Review: Making Deals Special Snowblind Issue
This article was posted by Daniel Feral 1 year, 3 months, 10 hours, 53 minutes ago.
On the occasion of the Snowblind exhibition and Carnage #2 release party at Klughaus last Friday, Making Deals Zine published a special Snowblind issue. Selling out immediately, we wanted to share this xeroxed gem with our readers. Enjoy a dozen spreads and read our commentary on the following pages…
Throughout the zine are beautiful, funny and personal photos that could only be taken in NYC. The editor/photographer has a unique eye that gives an idiosyncratic view of this special city. Chinatown and Coney Island featured here.
The photo on the top right of the snow sweeping down the stairs into the subway entrance is especially beautiful.
Capturing a shot of the American flag, a symbol of freedom, trapped behind bars displays a wonderful paradox.
