Zine Review: Remio’s Sleepner

12ozProphet’s newest blogger, Remio VTS left a couple of these zines around the office a couple months ago. His Sleepner is full of bombing, collaged ephemera, goofy cartoons, and even a few quiet poetic moments.
Remio obviously loves creating personal and unique printed matter to share with his friends and fans. He publishes small runs of beautiful, weird, graffiti covered zines that contain his work and others. This issue of Sleepner is 48-pages, black and white, photocopied with a color card stock cover and a hand stitched binding. Each issue is a limited run, hand-bound edition. They haven’t even been completely cataloged yet. On his website in the back catalog section, he asks for people to send pictures of ones we don’t see there. This one isn’t there, so we did.
Don’t know if there are any copies left at this point, but this is Remio’s website, which he calls “an online version of my handmade zine,” so you can get more of a feel for it there.

Wow, thanks for posting a zine review for a zine that’s been long sold out. Are you guys also selling newspapers from June 15th, 2012? Get with the program for gods sake.
Didn’t Sleepner 3 come out like 5 years ago? At least? Cool zine, but I think dude’s up to like issue 20-something.
