Zine Review: Truck City

By - Tuesday, August 13th, 2013

Truck City is a 48 page, 8.5 x 11 zine by Nighted. Mixing black and white photos with full color spreads, and like most of nighted’s zines they are full bleed. Definitely a high quality print job and the layout is very nice. This zine focuses on a major aspect of graffiti, trucks. The reason for this is that once painted they will travel throughout the city being seen by many. This zine collects photos of some of the most iconic writers on trucks in San Francisco from the early 2000s to now. It starts of with my favorite MQ piece on a box truck and hooks you in immediately. There’s never a dull moment when looking through this zine. They also have a photo of a on point Adek hand style on the back of a wooden pickup truck bed thing. If you like trucks and gritty graffiti this zine is for you!
